St Barth has relaxed its testing requirements for travelers, making them slightly easier to comply with.

Effective this week, St Barth will now accept either PCR or antigen tests taken within 48 hours before the departure flight to St Barth.

That’s a loosening of what had been a recent change to a 24-hour testing requirement.

“It’s good news for anyone traveling this winter,” Stiles Bennet, president and CMO of WIMCO Villas, the island’s leading villa provider, told Caribbean Journal

Travelers to St Barth still requires all travelers to show proof of full vaccination, meaning more than 14 days have passed since their second dose of an approved vaccine.

That applies to all travelers 18 and older.

All travelers 12 and up must provide a negative test.

For those traveling through St Martin, pre-registration and uploading of test results is required 24 hours prior to arrival in St Martin.

Proof of vaccination or a negative test is required to enter all restaurants and bars in St Barth — travelers can either show their CDC cards or register for France’s Pass Sanitaire digital pass.
