Frontier Airlines is adding yet another new nonstop route to Cancun on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

The low-cost carrier is launching a new route between Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport and Cancun, with service set to kick off on May 26.

The new route will operate four times each week, according to Frontier.

“Frontier’s growth in 2021 was nothing short of remarkable and our team continues to look ahead at new opportunities to expand ‘Low Fares Done Right’ across both the U.S. and our rapidly growing international network,” Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “This strategic announcement situates Frontier to capture strong existing demand and stimulate new traffic with affordable fares and convenient service.”

Cancun has been one of Frontier’s fastest-growing destinations amid the pandemic.
