Low-cost carrier Sun Country Airlines has kicked off the first-ever flights from Minneapolis to Turks and Caicos.
The new service to Providenciales officially launched this past weekend, with weekly nonstop flights on Saturdays.
It’s a major new gateway for travelers in the Midwest to Turks and Caicos, which has been one of the Caribbean’s hottest destinations amid the pandemic.
The flights come as another new route kicked off to Turks and Caicos this week, with new Frontier Airlines flights operating out of Orlando.
