United Kingdom-based airline Virgin Atlantic is back in Saint Lucia.

The carrier officially returned to the Eastern Caribbean island on Saturday, after a hiatus of one year, eight months and 25 days.

It means all UK-based air carriers have resumed their operations to Saint Lucia, according to the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.

That includes the recent relaunch of British Airways’ London-Saint Lucia service after more than 30 years.

Virgin Atlantic’s route, which is operating between London Heathrow and Saint Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport, is operating three times per week, with flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
