JetBlue Airways is adding more flights to Turks and Caicos in 2022, Caribbean Journal has learned.

As part of the carrier’s Northeast Alliance with American Airlines, JetBlue is expanding to service to several destinations, including Providenciales.

The Turks and Caicos expansion ill see the carrier offer up to two daily flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Providenciales next year.

“The new year brings new opportunities for the Northeast Alliance to add more JetBlue flying in New York and Boston and to deliver on the customer benefits we’ve promised since first announcing this innovative partnership,” said Joanna Geraghty, JetBlue’s president and chief operating officer.”

The expanded service comes as Turks and Caicos continues to see new airlift amid the pandemic.

That includes this weekend’s launch of the first-ever nonstop flights from Minneapolis to Turks and Caicos on Sun Country Airlines.
