Wyndham Opens New All-Inclusive Resorts in Cancun, Playa del Carmen

Wyndham has opened a pair of new all-inclusive resorts in the Mexican Caribbean. 

The new Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen and Wyndham Alltra Cancun have both officially welcomed their first guests. 

They’re the first all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean for Wyndham, which has been steadily growing its portfolio of brands of late, particularly in the Caribbean. 

The Wyndham Alltra Cancun is set in the heart of Cancun’s Hotel Zone; the property has a total of 458 rooms.

The family-friendly Alltra Cancun has everything from Camp Alltra, which includes a mini golf course and a splash park, and a mix of bars, beachside lounges and artisanal buffets. 

The Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen is an adults-only all-inclusive, with a total of 287 rooms, with amenities including a signature spa called Aura; an assortment of pools and hot tubs and nightly entertainment.

It’s a major foray for Wyndham into the fast-growing all-inclusive space, one that has seen a wave of big brands enter in recent years, from Hyatt to, most recently, Marriott
