Frontier Airlines, which has been one of the fastest-growing airlines in the Caribbean since the onset of the pandemic, is launching another new route, Caribbean Journal has learned.

On Nov. 20, Frontier will kick off another new Caribbean route out of Miami when it launches weekly flights to the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba.

The new Miami-Aruba service will be operating once weekly on Saturdays.

“We’re thrilled to continue Frontier’s phenomenal growth in Miami,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial, Frontier Airlines. “This new service offers Miami area residents access to desirable destinations throughout the country and beyond, with expanded international service to Aruba coming soon.”

Aruba has seen strong visitor numbers amid the pandemic.

“Thank you to Frontier Airlines for their ongoing commitment to providing more year-round destinations for our passengers to choose from,” Ralph Cutié, MIA Director and CEO
