Air Canada has continued its Caribbean relaunch with a restart of service to Grenada.

Air Canada is now serving the Eastern Caribbean island with two flights per week on Sundays and Wednesdays between Toronto and Maurice Bishop International Airport.

“Canadians are eager to travel and we anticipate that there will be a surge in international trips during the winter period, particularly to warm weather destinations,” said Petra Roach, Chief Executive Officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority. “We therefore need to be visible in the marketplace to take advantage of this pent-up demand and position Grenada as the ideal destination for Canadians seeking an escape from frigid temperatures to holiday in an authentic destination.”

Before the pandemic, Grenada reported a total of 17,911 annual visitors out of the Canadian market.
