St Regis Los Cabos Residences Top $40 Million in Sales
The highly-anticipated Residences at the St Regis Los Cabos project has topped $40 million in sales so far, Caribbean Journal Invest has learned.
Sales at the Mexico project are being led by Waypoint Resort Real Estate; the project only launched sales eight months ago on its first phase, which has now sold out.
The project, designed by SB Architects, will have interiors by Hirsch Bedner Associates San Francisco.
It’s being developed by Olarena Hospitality Group.
It will feature a 120-room hotel and 74 St Regis residences, with completion slated for fall 2022.
Sales have gotten off to a very strong start, bypassing the typical slower summer season. We’re seeing a steady number of buyers from across the U.S., especially from markets like Chicago, Texas, Colorado, California, Georgia and New York, purchasing a second home,” said Myles Newell, Principal of Waypoint Resort Real Estate, which is exclusively handling the sales and marketing for the development.
Waypoint has been tapped for a number of the Caribbean’s top residential resorts projects in recent years.
“With demand continuing to build, we’re excited to showcase our stellar beachfront villas to prospective buyers, which will set a new bar for luxury living in Los Cabos,” Newell said.
The project’s villas are on track for delivery next year, with pricing starting at $7.995 million; they’ll be a group of five and six-bedroom, fully-furnished oceanfront villas ranging from 6,738 to 6,867 square feet.
“With the villas on track for delivery next year, there is still time for buyers to come in and customize them to their specifications,” Newell said.
The new inventory also includes the Astor Mansion, an oceanfront home crafted in the “spirit of John Jacob Astor IV,” who founded the original St Regis New York.
The 12,950-square-foot, six-bedroom estate has everything from personalized butler service to a putting green.
All buyers at the Residences will have access to St Regis amenities, including the Jack Nicklaus Golf Course and Quivira Golf Club.
That’s along with a 27,000-square-foot St Regis Spa and Wellness Center.
It’s one of three St Regis-branded residential resorts in development in the Caribbean, along with projects in Cap Cana and Aruba.
