The Four Seasons Nevis Has a New Executive Chef

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - October 5, 2021

The Four Seasons Resort Nevis has named a new executive chief, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Four Seasons has tapped Picco Alapatt for the role, in which he will oversee the culinary teams and operations at the resort.

Alapatt most recently served as the executive chef at the Gulf Court Hotel, Business Bay in Dubai, the first property for the Bahrain-based Gulf Hotel Group.

“I am pleased to welcome Chef Picco to the Four Seasons Resort Nevis family,” says Yvette Thomas-Henry, Regional Vice President and General Manager. “His able and adaptable personality and aspiration to capture high challenges and responsibilities has allowed him to achieve unique strengths in new project development, openings & refurbishments, and leading multi-outlet & high-volume operations. We can’t wait to see what he will cook up for us in Nevis.”

A native of India, Alapatt’s previous experience has included work for brands like Ritz-Carlton, Jumeirah and Fairmont, among others.

“I am very glad to be joining Four Seasons Resort Nevis at this time in the property’s history,” Alapatt said. “I truly believe that good food brings ultimate happiness, and I am excited to share my creative approach to cooking to our guests, offering a good excuse to mingle at the table and relish a unique dining experience.”
