There’s a New Look at Marriott’s Golf Resort in Panama

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 16, 2021

The leading golf resort in Panama has unveiled a new look.

The Buenaventura Golf and Beach Resort, part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, has completed an upgrade to its 114 guest rooms and suites.

The new look has “maintained the hotel’s historic Panamanian culture and Spanish Colonial style while presenting a unique blend of coastal elegance and contemporary design with a calming color palette of nude and cream color fabrics, complemented by warm undertones of dark oak wood furniture,” according to the property.

The resort is anchored by a Nicklaus-designed 18-hole championship golf course set just a short drive outside of Panama City.

“What better way to welcome our guests back to the comfortable and family-friendly atmosphere we have here at the hotel,” said Victor Concepción, general manager of The Buenaventura Golf and Beach Resort. “The guest room renovation reflects the resort’s mission to consistently exceed our guests’ expectations.  The Buenaventura’s location is one of Panama’s most desired luxury beach communities, and we couldn’t be happier to provide guests with a meaningful cultural connection during their stay through our guest room redesign.”

That’s along with 10 pools, tennis courts, a spa and a sports club, among other amenities.
