A major new music festival is coming to Playa del Carmen on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

The new festival, Departure, is the brainchild of The Brooklyn Mirage, The Cityfox Experience, and Pollen Presents.

It’s a five-day experience set from Jan. 6-11, featuring some of the “leading talent in underground electronic music,” according to a release.

The host hotels will include the The Grand Hyatt, The Thompson, The Hilton, Panama Jack and The Yucatan.

That includes everyone from Adriatique and Amelie Lens to Tara Brooks, The Martinez Brothers and Zombies in Miami.

“Departure represents a new standard in music and travel. An immersive experience with the world’s leading names in house and techno, partnering with behemoths in the North American scene, it’s the chance to experience once-in-a-lifetime performances in unparalleled settings,” the festival’s organizers said in a statement.

Daily events include cenote trips, boat parties, scuba diving, jet skiing and hiking.
