An Evening of Fine Caribbean Rum in Miami

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - September 3, 2021

The Caribbean Rum Awards are coming to Miami for one night in September.

The Caribbean Rum Awards St Barth, the Caribbean’s leading celebration of fine rum, is holding a pre-event at Miami’s Empire Social Lounge on Sept. 27.

The Caribbean Rum Awards St Barth are set for Nov. 2-7 in the Caribbean’s most glamorous island (here’s more on how to attend).

“This intimate event is a chance for Miami-based rum aficionados to sample some of the rums from the Caribbean Rum Awards and learn more about how to attend this spectacular event in November,” said Alexander Britell, editor and publisher of Caribbean Journal and co-founder of the Caribbean Rum Awards.

The Miami Fine Caribbean Rum evening will run from 7-9 PM in the Members’ Lounge at Empire, including a private tasting led by Christopher Davis, world-renowned rum expert and proprietor of the Caribbean’s largest rum bar, the Rhum Room in St Barth, host of the Caribbean Rum Awards.

Empire Social, the top cigar lounge in Miami, is one of the partners of this year’s Caribbean Rum Awards St Barth, joined by WIMCO, Tradewind Aviation, Accuttron, Martinique, Les Ilets de la Plage, Davidoff and SC Capital.
