Marriott International is set to add another all-inclusive in the Caribbean, with the relaunch of the Royalton Grenada all-inclusive, which welcomes back guests on Oct. 1, Caribbean Journal has learned.

And while it’s technically a reopening, it’s practically a brand-new resort — the Royalton has just opened for the first time in March of 2020 before shuttering at the onset of the pandemic.

A number of Blue Diamond’s all-inclusive resorts are now part of the All-Inclusive by Marriott portfolio, including the Royalton Grenada, following an agreement signed in February 2021.

It’s part of Marriott’s fast-growing collection of all-inclusives in the wider region.

The 269-room hotel is the newest all-inclusive option in Grenada.

“We are thrilled to welcome back our discerning guests to experience a five-star luxury vacation on the renowned Spice Isle,” said Jordi Pelfort, President of Hotels and Resort at Blue Diamond’s parent company, Sunwing Travel Group. “Blue Diamond Resorts’ expansion into the Eastern Caribbean presents travelers with more opportunities to enjoy Royalton’s bespoke offerings in the exotic destination of Grenada.”

Amenities at the resort range from rain showers and soaker tubs in the rooms to complimentary non-motorized water sports, 24-hour room service and high-speed wi-fi across the property.

“Recently named the World’s Culinary Capital, Grenada is worthy of being on your bucket list,” Pelfort said. “If not for its culture and lush surroundings, come for the people who make this incredible destination home.”

It’s another addition for Marriott and another sign of the growing global demand for the all-inclusive space.
