Tropic Ocean Airways Launching Flights to The Bahamas’ Great Harbour Cay

Leading regional carrier Tropic Ocean Airways is launching another nonstop route to The Bahamas, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The Fort-Lauderdale based airline will be kicking off scheduled flight service from Fort Lauderdale’s Sheltair Aviation to Great Harbour Cay in the Berry Islands of The Bahamas. 

The new service will officially launch in September. 

Great Harbour Cay has long been a popular villa destination, with spectacular, uncrowded beaches and some of the best bonefishing in The Bahamas.

The launch comes after Tropic’s high-profile launch of its first schedule service from Fort Lauderdale to Nassau in August. 

The flight takes about one hour and five minutes.
