Tiger Woods’ Hero World Challenge is back again in The Bahamas this year.

The tournament, set at the Albany resort community in New Providence, will be held from Nov. 29-Dec. 5.

The event, which draws a select field of some of the world’s top golfers to the Nassau luxury property, supports youth education across the world.

“The enthusiasm among the world’s best golfers to compete in the Hero World Challenge is at an all-time high,” Tournament Director Mike Antolini said. “We are excited for the tournament’s return to Albany, Bahamas and adding two more players to one of the strongest fields in golf.”

This year’s event will see the field increase from 18 to 20 players, with the winner of THE PLAYERS Championship receiving an automatic invite.

Last year’s edition was canceled amid the pandemic; because of that, major winners from 2020 also receive invitations in to this year’s event.

The event is part of Woods’ strong connection to the Caribbean and particularly to The Bahamas, where he designed the new course at Jack’s Bay in Abaco and has another in development.

Woods is also behind the design at the long-awaited Harmony Cove resort project in Jamaica.
