British Airways is relaunching its flights service from London Gatwick to St Kitts, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The resumption of service will begin with two consecutive Sunday flights on Oct. 3 and Oct. 10, respectively.

Then on Oct. 16, British Airways will kick off twice-weekly service on Saturdays and Wednesdays.

The launch comes after the recent lifting of the country’s ban on flights from the UK, which had been in place since July 20.

St Kitts and Nevis continues its upward momentum on vaccination, with 72.8 percent of the country’s adult population having received one dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine and 61.4 percent of the population fully vaccinated.

The country is currently open only to fully vaccinated travelers; non-vaccinated children under 18 are welcome, however.
