Norwegian Cruise Line has floated out its newest ship, Norwegian Prima.
The new ship was floated out from her dry dock at Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, marking the first time the ship touched water.
Prime is the company’s 18th ship, part of the new. Prima Class of ships.
The 965-foot-long ship has capacity for 3,215 guests at double occupancy.
It will include a number of firsts for the brand, like Ocean Boulevard, an outdoor dining and entertainment space, and Infinity Beach, which features a pair of ocean-view infinity pools.
It will also include Indulge Food Hall, an open-air marketplace with food from 11 different dining concepts.
The ship will launch sailings in the summer of 2022, heading to Bermuda and the Caribbean in the fall and winter.
