Virgin Atlantic Is Launching Nassau Flights

Virgin Atlantic is launching flights to The Bahamas this winter, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The transatlantic carrier is kicking off service to Nassau beginning in November.

The service, which launches Nov. 20, will operate twice weekly out between London Heathrow and Nassau’s Lynden Pindling International Airport, according to the airline.

Flights will be operated on Virgin’s Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with tickets going on sale Aug. 11.

“Whether you’re looking to escape on your next adventure, explore a new corner of the world or just want to relax in paradise, you’re going to love stepping off our aircraft into this spectacular and sunny island nation,” the company said in a statement.
