British Airways has is flying from London Heathrow to Saint Lucia again.

After a more than 30 year hiatus, the carrier has restarted flights from Heathrow to Saint Lucia’s Hewanorra International Airport.

The new flights are operating weekly on Saturdays through at least Sept. 4..

Discussions are already ongoing to continue the flights beyond that date, according to Saint Lucia tourism officials.

“This newly introduced weekly service from Heathrow comes at an opportune time when Saint Lucia is drumming up even more support for an already exciting summer, and the upcoming peak winter period. This also signals continued progress towards the full recovery of the tourism sector,” said Geraine Georges, a spokesperson for the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.

The new service complements existing British Airways flights to Saint Lucia out of Gatwick, which operate four times each week.
