A New $1 Billion Caribbean Destination Project Breaks Ground

The Dominican Republic has big plans for a new tourism destination: Pedernales in the southwestern corner of the country. 

Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader was on hand this week for the groundbreaking of the estimated $1 billion project in Pedernales, which is part of the municipality of Cabo Rojo.
