Ritz-Carlton has made its highly-anticipated debut in Turks and Caicos.

The Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos officially opened its doors on June 22, the first-ever Ritz-Carlton resort in the destination.

The residential resort is set in the heart of Providenciales’ iconic Grace Bay Beach.

“We are thrilled to expand our global portfolio with the debut of The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos, a destination known for its stunning natural environment, which has long served as an alluring retreat for the world’s most discerning travelers,” said Donna McNamara, Vice President and Global Brand Leader, The Ritz-Carlton.

The resort has a total of 147 ocean-view rooms, including 23 suites — and five three-story penthouse suites, all of which have their own rooftop plunge pools.

Other amenities include a Ritz-carlton Club. Lounge, an adults-only pool with private cabanas, a recreation pool and access to the resort’s Lady Grace private catamaran.

There’s also a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa and a Ritz Kids program for kids four through 12.

Dining concepts include Coralli, a locally-inspired eatery and BLT Steak, part of the world-renowned steakhouse chain first pioneered by Laurent Tourondel.

There’s also 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including a nearly 5,000-square-foot ballroom.

And in a first for Turks and Caicos, there’s an on-site casino with traditional table games.

“Reflecting the island’s genuine warmth and hospitality, The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos promises to be a beachfront haven for guests and locals alike,” said John Hazard, General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos. “Through thoughtful programming, elevated amenities and distinct culinary experiences, our Ladies and Gentlemen look forward to welcoming guests and immersing them in all that this destination has to offer.”

It’s yet another boost for the destination, which has been among the buzziest travel hotspots in the Caribbean amid the pandemic, following Turks and Caicos’ July 2020 tourism reopening.

“Whether enjoying a sunset sail or family snorkel from the resort’s private catamaran, Lady Grace, to relaxing poolside, The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos offers the perfect opportunity for our guests to recharge and reconnect while making lasting memories,” McNamara said.
