Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines has launched its newest Caribbean route, this time with service from Dallas to Cancun, Mexico.
The new flights, which began last week, are operating three times each week.
That includes flights on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, according to the company’s Web site.
“Frontier’s growth at DFW has been remarkable and we now offer 13 nonstop destinations from Texas’ largest metro area. We look forward to welcoming travelers onboard this summer to explore new places and make everlasting memories,” said Daniel Shurz, senior Vice President of commercial at Frontier Airlines.
It’s part of what has been a broader Caribbean expansion for Frontier, including a major expansion over the last year out of Miami International Airport.
And it’s yet another new route for Cancun, which has seen more airlift growth than any other regional destination amid the pandemic.
