Sunwing is set to relaunch more flights to popular destinations in the Dominican Republic, including Puerto Plata and Punta Cana.

Beginning in early December, the company will resume flights from Saguenay-Bagotvilla Airport in Quebec to a number of Caribbean destinations.

That includes weekly flights on Mondays to Cancun; weekly Tuesday flights to Puerto Plata; Wednesday flights to Varadero, Cuba and Thursday flights to Punta Cana.

All of the routes will operate through the third week of April.

“We’re delighted to be returning to Saguenay-Bagotville Airport this winter,” commented Andrew Dawson, President of Tour Operations for Sunwing. “As demand for travel increases after a long year of staying home, we’re seeing more and more travellers value seamless vacation experiences from start to finish. By offering flights from convenient regional airports, Quebecois sun-seekers will be able to spend more of their much-deserved vacation time on the beach.”
