Benchmark Adds Bermuda Resort to Portfolio
Global hospitality company Benchmark has added Bermuda’s Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa to its portfolio.
The 90-year-old resort is the first Bermuda property for the company.
“The addition of Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa to the Benchmark family marks an exciting milestone for our team: we prepare to operate our first resort in this legendary destination,” said Benchmark CEO, Alex Cabañas. “Benchmark is thrilled to partner with Cambridge Beaches’ new ownership, Dovetail + Co, as we work together to elevate this notable property.”
Cambridge Beaches is home to 86 cottage-style suites, some of which have private plunge pools. That’s along with four beach areas and a waterfront swimming pool, along with a 10,000-square-foot spa and a fitness center, among other amenities.
It’s the first property in the wider region for Benchmark.
The move comes after the property was purchased by Dovetail and Co earlier this year.
