The Bahamas’ Baha Mar Waives Check-In Testing for Vaccinated Travelers

The Bahamas’ Baha Mar resort has announced it is waiving its check-in testing requirement for fully vaccinated travelers.

The property had been requiring all travelers to take a rapid antigen test immediately following check-in.

Now, that doesn’t apply to the fully vaccinated, meaning such travelers can check in and “move freely throughout the resort destination immediately.”

The move comes after The Bahamas recently waived pre-testing requirements for vaccinated travelers. (You can find more on the country’s entry protocols here).

“We commend the decision by the Ministry of Tourism and Aviation of The Bahamas to adjust the initial testing requirements for vaccinated travelers and offer our full support behind this initiative,” said Graeme Davis, President, Baha Mar. “Through our testing protocols alongside the Travel with Confidence program, we are determined to provide the safest vacation experience possible in the Caribbean as we work together to rebuild the travel and hospitality industry around the world.”
