Sunwing Is Relaunching More Cuba Flights This Winter

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - May 15, 2021

Canadian travel giant Sunwing is relaunching more flights to vacation destinations in Cuba this winter.

Sunwing will be returning to Windsor International Airport in Ontario for the upcoming 2021-2022 winter season, the company said this week.

Sunwing will operate flights from Windsor to both Cayo Santa Maria and Varadero beginning in December.

The Windsor-Cayo Santa Maria flights will run weekly on Tuesdays, with service from Dec. 14, 2021 to April 5, 2022.

The Windsor-Varadero service will operate from Dec. 16 to April 14, 2022, with flights weekly on Thursdays.

Our service from Windsor International Airport has been consistently well received and we’re looking forward to returning for the 2021/2022 winter season,” commented Andrew Dawson, President of Tour Operations for Sunwing. “Our regional gateways including Windsor are at the forefront of our operations and we’re excited to be offering residents convenient departures from their local airport under our wing.”
