Exuma Private Island Hits the Market for $2.5 Million

By: Caribbean Journal Staff

A private island in the Exuma archipelago of The Bahamas is the country’s latest to hit the real estate market, Caribbean Journal Invest has learned.

Nancy Skinner’s Cay, a 38-acre island off the southwestern coast of Great Exuma, is being listed exclusively with CA Christie Real Estate.

The island is set between Exuma and The Hermitage.

“Nancy Skinner’s Cay is located in prime position to mainland Exuma while offering privacy away from the more populated Exuma Cays,” CA Christie said.

It’s the latest addition to what has become the hottest private island market in the hemisphere, with a surge of sales activity and a host of new listings since the onset of the pandemic.

That’s likely to continue as high-net-worth buyers and investors continue to seek the seclusion and sanctuary of private islands.
