How to Live on the Beach in Puerto Rico

By: Caribbean Journal Staff

By Guy Britton

Puerto Rico has never been more popular as a real estate destination, with more and more buyers drawn to the island for its low-tax program (Acts 20 and 22) and its Caribbean lifestyle – both of which are particularly attractive amid the pandemic.

Much of that demand has been focused on the northeastern coast of Puerto Rico — places like Dorado Beach and the waterfront neighborhoods of San Juan.

But the island has a relative dearth of available direct beachfront properties.

A new offering, however, has launched in an area that’s still something of a well-kept secret in Puerto Rico: its spectacular northwestern— one that’s both beach view and beach front real estate.

TK has launched a broad offering of beachfront lots on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico.

One of the lots that stretches from the hills to the ocean.

All of the lots are between five and ten minutes from town, along one of the Caribbean’s top surfing destinations, that’s a haven for scuba divers, surfers and beach lovers.

Some of the lots are beach front, ranging from 500 to 3,000 linear feet of beach, with tax incentives available with permits.  There are lots of .25 acre in size and they range in price from $240,000-275,000.

There is also another lot overlooking the famous Rincon surfing beach that is one acre. This lot is listed at $1.75 million.

That’s in addition to a five-acre beachfront property in the nearby town of Anasco. This property can be split into one acre plots and purchased for for $400,000-$600,000 each.

Utilities are close to all the parcels including the largest being 126 ac. with permits
