Another all-inclusive resort is set to reopen in Grand Bahama next month, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach resort is reopening its doors to guests on on the island’s southern coast on April 25.

The resort’s relaunch will follow next week’s reopening of the Lighthouse Pointe all-inclusive at the Grand Lucayan complex in Grand Bahama.

The resort, set on 26 acres in Grand Bahama, has a total of 274 guest rooms, all with a balcony or terrace.

The all-inclusive program includes food and beverage, snacks, non-motorized sports equipment and other entertainment.

“We will be making some special opening offers, and perhaps also include the rapid test in our packages to make it more attractive for our visitors from the USA,” said Marco Gobbi, general manager of the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach resort.

The relaunch of the two resorts is a major boost for Grand Bahama, which recently announced an expansion of its provisional airport terminal with an eye toward increased visitor traffic on the island.

They join a growing number of reopened properties on the island, from Taino Beach Resorts and Clubs, to the Old Bahama Bay Resort and Yacht Club.

Viva Wyndham has already opened three of its other Caribbean all-inclusives, including the Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach Resort, Viva Wyndham V Samana, Viva Wyndham Bayahibe, all of which are the Dominican Republic.
