The Bahamas’ Fountain Bay Resort Is For Sale
The Bahamas’ Fountain Bay beach resort is on the market, Caribbean Journal Invest has learned.
The Cat Island property is now listed for $11.49 million with Bahamian real estate firm CA Christie. That’s a reduction form an earlier listing of 14 million.
The property includes 28 acres of real estate in the New Bight area of Cat Island, about five minutes from New Bight Airport.
The listing includes 10 bungalow-style villas along with both canal and oceanfront lots.
The property also includes a clubhouse with indoor and outdoor dining, bonefish flats and a fish nursery.
“This peaceful, serene, beautifully-planned paradise is surrounded by gorgeous turquoise water and lots of foliage,” says listing agent Phillippa Newton.
Cat Island, one of the Out Islands of The Bahamas, has been increasingly popular in recent years, with regular flights from Nassau and periodic service from Fort Lauderdale.
The island, with few people but copious beaches, is about 30 minutes by plane from Nassau.
