By: Caribbean Journal Staff - March 13, 2021

St Maarten-based regional airline Winair is expanding its service to the island of Statia (St Eustatius), Caribbean Journal has learned.

Beginning on April 2, the carrier will be adding two more flights between St Maarten and Statia, with service on Fridays and Saturdays.

The flights take about 20 minutes.

The expansion aims to accommodate the new international flight schedule for Dutch carrier KLM, along with US flights.
