Marriott has debuted its first-ever Residence Inn hotel in Panama City, Panama, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The hotel has 144 suites set across 12 floors in the Punta Pacitica area of the capital.
The property has a lobby bar, daily hot breakfast, a convenience store, an infinity pool and amenities like free Wi-Fi.
“We continue to see strong demand for our longer stay hotels from both business and leisure travelers,” said Tina Edmundson, Global Brand and Marketing Officer at Marriott International. “We are delighted to introduce a bevy of new properties that will provide the ultimate residential comfort to create a home away from home.”
It’s the second Residence Inn debut for Marriott in the region so far this year, following last month’s launch of the new Residence Inn by Marriott Cancun Hotel Zone in Mexico.
