The Grand Bahama Ferry Is Back

Balearia Caribbean has relaunched its ferry service between Fort Lauderdale and the island of Grand Bahama in The Bahamas, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The ferry is operating twice weekly from Fort Lauderdale to Grand Bahama, with service on Sundays and Thursdays.

The journey takes about four hours. 

Balearia has also relaunched its service to Bimini. 

All of The Bahamas’ entry protocols for visitors apply to ferry passengers, highlighted by a five-day testing window.
