How The Bahamas’ Baha Mar Is Handling Positive Tests

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - February 22, 2021

The Bahamas’ Baha Mar resort has launched a unique new program for guests who happen to test positive for COVID-19 prior to departure from the resort.

The Nassau resort will provide either courtesy private jet service back to the United States or a complimentary 14-day stay for guests who test positive.

Guests will also get a $150 dining credit per person per day for up to 14 days.

It’s part of the resort’s new Travel With Confidence Program.

“In this ever-changing travel environment, it is our goal to alleviate travelers’ concerns surrounding COVID-19, in an effort to ensure the health, safety and comfort of our guests,” said Graeme Davis, President, Baha Mar. “Our Travel with Confidence program is the first of its kind in the industry, providing travelers with added peace of mind and the option to safely return home, or quarantine at no added expense – the choice is theirs.”

It’s part of the resort’s comprehensive COVID safety program, one that also includes rapid testing up upon arrival and departure.
