Visitors to St Maarten can now provide antigen test results to comply with the island’s entry requirements.

United States visitors can supply any non-home administered antigen tests, performed within 48 hours prior to departure.

For those who wish to take PCR tests, St Maarten requires results of a test taken and received within 72 hours before arrival.

All FDA approved antigen tests are accepted.

“Sint Maarten is buzzing right now. With restaurants and shops open for business, travelers can safely experience a full range of our vibrant destination offerings,” said Saro Spadaro, President and CEO of Sonesta Resorts Sint Maarten. “With the government’s announcement of the approval of antigen testing vs. PCR tests for arrival, we hope this bolsters tourism when our island really needs it, and travelers need it as well. The safety of our visitors is our primary concern and we do encourage people to travel safely.”

Sonesta, which has two resorts on the island, is also providing on-property rapid antigen testing for guests to comply with the CDC return travel requirements.
