Puerto Rico Adds Testing Access at San Juan Airport
Puerto Rico’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan is now offering PCR tests for all passengers, the airport announced this week.
The program, done in partnership with CMT Group, will offer PCR testing for all travelers coming in or going out of the island.
The tests cost $110, with results guaranteed within 24-48 hours.
Puerto Rico is exempt from the CDC testing requirement for returning travelers. “Travelers who still wish to get tested will have the availability to do so without having to leave the airport,” Discover Puerto Rico said in a statement.
Passengers can pre-register or register upon arrival or departure.
Puerto Rico is currently receiving visitors who comply with the island’s travel protocols, which can be found here. It is not, however, encouraging tourism.
