Sandals will complete its brand-wide reopening by the end of March, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The company has already reopened 10 of its resorts in the Caribbean, with the remaining five set to relaunch over the next six weeks.

That will kick off with the Feb. 24 relaunch of the Sandals Emerald Bay resort on Great Exuma in The Bahamas.

On March 3, Sandals will reopen its Sandals Royal Barbados and Sandals Barbados resorts, along with the relaunch of Sandals Grenada.

And on March 31, Sandals will reopen its Sandals Royal Bahamian resort on Cable Beach in Nassau.

Sandals was the first major resort company to reopen in the Caribbean back in June, and has been undertaking a phased reopening over the last eight months.

All of the company’s resorts are now operating under the Sandals Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness health and safety program.

The company’s family-focused brand, Beaches, has already reopened its Turks and Caicos and Negril, Jamaica resorts.

Beaches Ocho Rios, also in Jamaica, will be opening on March 4, according to the company.
