Marriott Is Opening a New Resort in Maztlan, Mexico

The first-ever Marriott-branded resort in Mazatlan, Mexico is set to open in October, Caribbean Journal has learned. 

The new Courtyard by Marriott Mazatlan Sinaloa Mexico will be opening this fall. 

The property will the the first fully new-built Courtyard by Marriott in the Caribbean and Latin America region, the company said, with 195 rooms set on a 50,000-square-foot oceanfront compound. 

The resort, set in Mazatlan’s “Golden Zone,” will include a pool bar, a beachfront open-kitchen restaurant, a kids club, a fitness center and an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. 

Marriott’s Courtyard brand has been steadily expanding in the Caribbean-Mexico region in recent years. 

Mexico has been open for tourism since last summer.
