Choice Hotels has named a new regional Vice President of franchise sales development for the Ascent Hotel Collection, the company said this week.
Choice Hotels has tapped Glenn Gordon to the role, in which he will lead the growth of the brand’s footprint in the southeastern United States and the Caribbean.
That will include sourcing new projects and securing new franchise agreements.
For now, the Ascend Collection has two Caribbean properties, with both set in the Dominican Republic.
It’s a return to the company for Gordon, who has previously worked for Choices franchise sales development team, along with roles with Value Place, Wyndham and StayAPT Suites.
In a statement, Choice said the move would help to “advance the company’s corporate priorities and drive growth.”
