Ferry service between Florida and Grand Bahama is returning, Caribbean Journal has learned.
Ferry operator Balearia Caribbean will be relaunching its ferry service between Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades and Freeport, Grand Bahama on Feb. 11.
During the first phase, the service will operate once a week on Thursdays.
It’s anticipated that a second sailing will also be implemented at the end of February, most likely on Sundays.
The move follows previously-announced launch plans of Balearia’s Bimini route, also on Feb. 11.
