One of the leading resorts in the Mexican Caribbean has added a collection of new overwater villas.
They’re called “Over-the-water pool villas,” and they’re set on the lagoon at the Banyan Tree Mayakoba resort.

It’s part of a broader expansion project recently completed by Banyan Tree Mayakoba, Caribbean Journal has learned.
That includes the addition of 34 new beachfront “pool” suites and a new kids club.
Banyan Tree Mayakoba, part of the Mayakoba luxury development that also includes resorts from Rosewood and Fairmont, has also added a new beach club called Sands.
