The Bahama’ Rosewood Baha Mar resort will be reopening in March, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The property will be relaunching on March 4, according to Rosewood.

“Out of an abundance of caution and desire to stay true to our Sense of Place philosophy – offering the privacy, relaxation and reassurance our guests and associates have come to respect and rely on – we are keeping operations suspended for the time being,” Rosewood Baha Mar said in a statement on its Web site. “We will be spending this time focusing on The New Exceptional, Rosewood Baha Mar’s new sequence of service standards to properly train and prepare for arrivals in the new year; taking into account all the expert safety precautions we are given as well as the enjoyment and wellbeing of our guests, associates, and our local community.”

The hotel has also launched an offer that includes the addition of omplimentary nights for four, five or seven-day vacations for stays from March 4 through Dec. 19, 2021.

Rosewood Baha Mar is one of three resorts at the Baha Mar megaresort complex in Cable Beach, along with the SLS Baha Mar and the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar.

There are currently four Rosewood resorts in the wider Caribbean, with the Baha Mar joined by locations in St Barth, the Mexican Caribbean, the British Virgin Islands.

Of those, Rosewood Mayakoba and Rosewood Little Dix Bay are already open again.

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar was the first reopen, having relaunched in mid-December.
