The Bahamas’ Resorts World Bimini Is Reopening

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - December 5, 2020 - 9:36 pm

The Resorts World Bimini resort in The Bahamas is reopening Dec. 26, Caribbean Journal has learned.

The casino resort on North Bimini has been shuttered since the beginning of the pandemic.

“Resorts World Bimini couldn’t be happier to be opening its doors once again and welcoming back our guests,” said Robert DeSalvio, President of Genting Americas East. “Our team members have done everything under the sun to make guests’ experiences here clean, safe and fun.”

The property has reopened under a health and safety plan called “Safe in the Sun,” which follows certification by The Bahamas’ Clean and Pristine program.

The Bahamas is currently open for tourism. You can find more on the country’s travel protocols here
