Playa Hotels and Resort’s Hilton La Romana resort complex has officially reopened for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.

The complex, which includes the “Hilton La Romana An All-Inclusive Resort” and the Hilton La Romana An All-Inclusive Family Resort,” resumed operations on Nov. 16.

The newly expanded and renovated property is set in the fishing town of Bayahibe on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic.

It’s relaunched under the company’s “Playa Safe Stay” health and safety guidelines.

“We are ecstatic to reopen these two fabulous resorts and to welcome all guests who have chosen Hilton La Romana in a very special way,” said Carlos Fresco, general manager of Hilton La Romana. “We are grateful for the opportunity to host guests during this delicate time for the world. They can certainly count on the commitment of all our associates to not only ensure the enjoyment of their vacations, but also to protect them with the protocols and confidence that only a brand like Hilton can offer.”
