Dominica’s long-awaited international airport project could begin construction as early as the first quarter of 2021, according to Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit.
The country’s government has acquired approximately 411 acres for the site for the airport, which would be able to receive long-haul flights and jets; the country’s existing Douglas-Charles Airport can only receive regional aircraft.
