Turks and Caicos’ Wymara Resort Has a New Look

By: Caribbean Journal Staff - November 10, 2020

Turks and Caicos’ Wymara Resort and Villas has a new look following a $10 million renovation project.

The upgrade covered all of the property’s 91 rooms and suites.

The renovation, the product of a collaboration between Casey Sonke of KC & Company and Coast Architects, was inspired by the property’s villa portfolio.

“This renovation is a breath of fresh Caribbean air at a time when consumers need most to rediscover travel as a means to reconnect with themselves, their families, and nature,” said Jorge Collazo, General Manager of Wymara Resort and Villas. “Together with our coveted villa portfolio, the Wymara Resort experience honors not just the essence of Turks & Caicos, but also the factors that are shaping today’s travel decisions: exclusivity, the comfort and luxury of residential-style accommodations for extended stays, workations, multi-family trips, and slow travel, among others.”

Turks and Caicos has been open for tourism since July.

You can find the destination’s travel protocols here.
