More and more travelers are taking advantage of remote work and extended-stay programs in the Caribbean, and now one of Saint Lucia’s most popular resort companies is offering a program of its own.

It’s called “Live in Paradise” and it’s the brainchild of Saint Lucia’s Bay Gardens Resorts.

The program allows travelers to live and work in Saint Lucia in “affordable comfort and style.”

Visitors from the Unite States, Canada, the Untied Kingdom, the Schengen countries in Europe and the Caribbean can stay in Saint Lucia without a visa for up to six months.

Sanovnik Destang, the executive director of Bay Gardens Resorts, said the company’s COVID-19-certified accommodations are “perfect for digital nomads.”

“Our complimentary high speed internet enables residents and guests to use Wi-Fi on the beach, by the pool or on their deck at a villa,” he said.

Destang said the Bay Gardens Hotel, Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa and recently-launched, 4000-square-foot Waters Edge Villas are “a snatch for singles, couples or families.”

Guests who stay for four weeks or more can see a savings of up to 70 percent off regular rates.
