Sandals South Coast Resort Reopens in Jamaica

Sandals Resorts International has reopened another resort in the Caribbean, this time its newly-transformed Sandals South Coast resort in Jamaica.

The all-inclusive resort has relaunched with a new kind of hotel room for the brand: the Swim-Up Rondoval Suites, which include private plunge pools set with swim-up access to what the company bills as the “longest pool in the Western Hemisphere.”

Sandals has also reimagined its 112-room Dutch Village at the property, one we’ve called the most “serene” in the company’s portfolio.

It’s the latest Sandals resort in the Caribbean to relaunch since the beginning of the pandemic, and the fourth Jamaican resort to reopen.

It joins the already-reopened Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Royal Caribbean, Sandals Negril.

Jamaica has been open for tourism since mid-June.
