Canadian leisure carrier WestJet is returning to the Caribbean in October, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Beginning Oct. 4, West Jet will be relaunching flights to a host of Caribbean destinations, including Kingston, Montego Bay and Cancun.

That will include routes from Toronto to Kingston and Montego Bay in Jamaica and Cancun, Mexico.

WestJet is also relaunching some other Mexico routes, resuming service between Calgary and Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas.

WestJet said its updated schedule supported by the “layered framework WestJet has built to ensure Canadians can continue to travel safely and responsibly, through the airline’s Safety Above All hygiene program.”
